Whois Data Reminder Policy – WDRP – is an annual reminder sent to each domain’s registrant contact via e-mail. This is a requirement by ICANN. The WDRP e-mail is sent 120 days prior to the domain’s anniversary date each year. Even if the domain has been renewed for a few years in advance, the WDRP will still be sent out each year.

The purpose of the WDRP notice is to remind domain name owners of their obligation to update contact information on file for their domain names.

Within the remainder will be the current Whois information for that domain and a link to log into your easyDNS account if you need to make an update. If you do not act upon this reminder, then it is assumed the registration record is up to date.

It should be noted that if the registrant e-mail is not up to date and bounces the WDRP reminder, then this will trigger another ICANN policy, WAP – the Whois Accuracy Program. Please go [HERE](https://kb.easydns.com/knowledge/the-icann-whois-accuracy-program-wap/) for more information on WAP.
