From this page, you can manage the appliance quarantine, search messages, and perform operations on them. You can also generate digest reports for a given user and manage release requests.

**Quarantined Messages**
From this section, you can search messages or perform quarantine operations on them.

**Perform A Search**
From this page, you can easily find the quarantine messages you are looking for. You can search an email by *Subject*, *Email* *address* (sender or recipient), and *Date Range*. You should fill out all these fields in order to achieve the best results.

**Quarantine Managing Toolbar**
By selecting one or more messages found using the search tool you can perform many operations on them:

- *Export* (saves the search in a common export format like CSV, PDF etc…)
- *Recall* (if a Threat Remediation connector is set, you can remove the message from the user inbox)
- *Rescan* (this is useful to test the scan result after new configurations are just performed)
- *Release* (deliver the message as if it had never transited on the appliance, so without any kind of modification)
- *Delete* (permanently delete the message from the quarantine)
- *Mark as* (let the Bayesian Engine learn this message as false positive or false negative in order to improve its detection power)
- *Submit as* (submit the message to our labs in order to better analyze it and improve our detection rules)

From this toolbar, you can also generate and send a digest report to the user you provide. This is useful to individually manage the quarantine.

**Message Release Requests**
From this section, you can manage the message release requests sent by the users from the digest report to the *Administrator* or *Domain Admin* users.

You can receive a notification email for every release request made by the user to a custom email address (*Send email to* field), and/or send a notification to the Domain Admin user(s) of the domain (*Send email to Domain Admin*).

You can decide to *Release* the message accepting the user request or to *Delete* the message rejecting the user request from the toolbar by selecting the requests you want to manage. You can also view the *message details* by clicking on the *green eye icon* at the end of each release request.
